DOG OWNER GUIDELINES

Bringing your dog to camp is a privilege. Please respect the rights of your fellow camp members by following these guidelines

•    As of July 1, 2003, only one dog is allowed per campsite. Prior members are “Grandfathered” in.

•    Dogs must always be on a leash.

 •    Dogs are allowed only at your campsite, in designated dog walking areas and on gravel roadways. Please keep your pet away from other members’ campsites unless they approve the “visit”.

 •    Dogs are not allowed in the clubhouse, beach area & pond, volleyball, petanque and shuffleboard court areas, horseshoe pit, camp fire pit or any other common area where members gather.

 •    ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG - IMMEDIATELY. This is the responsibility of a good pet owner. Please carry a “pick up bag” with you when you are walking your dog. Throw the bag in the trash not in the woods!

 •    BARKING must be controlled -  including during the day. You are responsible for your dog’s barking at all times, whether or not you are at your site.

If the noise or bad behavior of your dog infringes in any way on the solitude, peace and enjoyment of the camp for other camp members, you will be asked to leave your dog at home.

If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact the  members’ representatives or owners’ representative.
